Marc lived another 8 months and was able to rest and spend time with his kids. Hospice made him comfortable and he passed away peacefully in his sleep. Jordan and Amy struggled with grief as one would expect. Using the mineral rights on their land, they were both able to attend college and keep the family home where Jordan resides with his wife and children. He became a lawyer and practices in the nearby small town. Amy became a marine biologist and traveled the world before settling in Grand Rapids, MI. She is currently single and happy.
